        ”Mariska, Mariska, Mariska… I hardly know what do she’ll come to work with today. But beauty is not do deep, not for my fellow sex detective Mariska Olivia Benson Hargitay Hermann. What’s most important is that she lives life beautifully. When she’s not swimming with dolphins, she’s eating at the best restaurants, enjoying the splendors of a foreign land (Italy, Africa) or luxuriating in a hypoallergenic bubble bath.
        She needs beauty in her life. She loves the calm of scented candles and scented healing oils. I think she rolls outta bed every morning, sings a refrain of “Good Morning Starshine” kisses her 6’6” square-jawed husband who speaks nine languages, lifts up her 2-year-old child who has just finished another Rubik’s Cube, she looks in the mirror - out of habit, just in case, this time… maybe… just maybe, she may need a little something - but no. She flips her hair into place and laughs a little knowing laugh that says, “I don’t even know why I bother to buy makeup!”
